Our History

Green’s Loving Hands ELC was founded in 2020 and started out as an in home early learning center. We moved into our facility in 2023 and are in the process of expansion. GLHELC is a member of the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce and an early learning center that’s a part of Ascension Parish Headstart. 2024 was the first year we became a part of the QRS and we are ranked as a 3 star facility.

Tremeka Ellis-Green

Tremeka Ellis-Green is from Alexandria, LA and is a mother of 3. She is a Spring 2009 Grambling State University Graduate with a degree in Family & Consumer Sciences (Child Development) and a Spring 2024 Northwestern State University Graduate with a BS degree in Psychology. Mrs. Green previously was employed as a paraprofessional in PreK at Duplessis Primary School for 5 years. She started a part time daycare during the summer in 2016 and opened full time in 2020

We provide our students with the tools they need for future happiness and success. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child’s best interests n mind and allowing for hands-on learning!
